Job Summary

As the first point of contact for our organization, the receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive impression for clients, visitors, and employees. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Welcome on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ensure that visitors entering the plant sign in and complete the confidentiality agreement.
  • Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries
  • Ensure that all incoming and outgoing packages are logged and distributed to the appropriate departments
  • Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Maintain kitchen organized and stocked
  • Keep track of all Amazon orders
  • Assist the HR Assistant with the office signing sheets.
  • Maintain and update office directory as needed
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
  • Other duties as assigned

Food Safety Responsibilities

  • All employees are required to immediately report and assist in the elimination or control of any food safety issues they observe to their supervisor
  • Monitors and enforces cGMPs
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Pre-requisite programs 

Required Qualifications:

  • High diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role preferred

Physical Requirements: 

  • Frequently required to sit for up to an entire 8-hour shift
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Frequent use of hand

Pay range: $19.50 - $23.50

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Supervisor: Inventory Supervisor 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
