Job Summary
As the first point of contact for our organization, the receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive impression for clients, visitors, and employees.
Essential Job Functions
- Welcome on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure that visitors entering the plant sign in and complete the confidentiality agreement.
- Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries
- Ensure that all incoming and outgoing packages are logged and distributed to the appropriate departments
- Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Maintain kitchen organized and stocked
- Keep track of all Amazon orders
- Assist the HR Assistant with the office signing sheets.
- Maintain and update office directory as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
- Other duties as assigned
Food Safety Responsibilities
- All employees are required to immediately report and assist in the elimination or control of any food safety issues they observe to their supervisor
- Monitors and enforces cGMPs
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Pre-requisite programs
Required Qualifications:
- High diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to sit for up to an entire 8-hour shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent use of hand
Pay range: $19.50 - $23.50
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Supervisor: Inventory Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
